Yes. Some pieces will be truly, excruciatingly awful. Some will be bad, but later you can come back and fix them (well, steal parts for use in new inventions). Some will have your readers thinking encouraging thoughts for next time.
And some, like what I’ve already seen of yours, will be frakin’ awesome. So there’s that.
