Which is why I almost never took vacations unless I was forced to ("use it or lose it" policy, in the Navy and some companies) or I was obliged to ("but you're coming home for Chrstmas, right?"). Or — happened occasionally — I had someone who gave me a reason to take time off. In *that* case I actually got enough out of the vacation to make up for re-entry problems. And now, of course — well, last twenty-one years, actually — I always have someone who makes vacations worthwhile. 😊
