When I lived in California we were told to keep enough supplies for 72 hours of no power, water, or communication. Here in PA, we’re good for a week because… well, just because. Oh, and a bug-out bag in our car (with paperwork, evac maps, meds, water, & food) because if we drive up the ridge half a mile we can see Three Mile Island nuclear plant (currently shutdown, but scheduled to come back on line). 😁
