We have had school shut-downs in our area because of anonymous threats (most on Fridays — hmmmm) which everyone now *must* take seriously because of all the warnings on the Florida shooter that were ignored/not taken seriously/never acted on in a way that made sense after the kid opened fire (although the actions may have made sense beforehand). At some point authorities will realize that letting any kid with a quarter and a pay phone (or the early 21st Century equivalent, the Internet and an anonymous email account) shut down a school for a day is nuts. <sigh>
