Okay, I should probably mention that I meant it as a GOOD wow. I should also probably mention that the closest I’ve come to a spiritual awakening after reading a book? It was James Gleick’s Chaos: Making a New Science. But based on my attempts to explain how that book totally upended my worldview (lesson learned: people have trouble grokking spiritual transformations when they involve repetitive solutions of linear equations with varying coefficients) I need to spend more time than I have right now to write up what it was like.
