Two blue jays, as I type, both sitting in our ornamental cherry tree. They are looking (with great disappointment!) at the empty suet feeder (squirrels), empty seed feeder (deer), and empty (of cherries) cherry tree (squirrels again). One of them is emitting an odd chirp, not at all like a standard blue jay squawk, while bobbing his(?) head up and down.

And they're gone.

Tomorrow (when my wife will spend more time at home and able to watch the feeders) I will replenish the seed and suet and we should get a larger and more diverse crowd.
