Alicia poked her head out of the bathroom. “I’m just going to leave this t-shirt here in the shower to drip dry. I think the sink and hand soap did okay with getting your dried snot out. I’ll stop by to pick it up later. Unless you want to keep it, since you bought it?” Ed shook his head. “Didn’t think so.”

When they were both dressed Ed offered to buy her breakfast. “Dude, you can’t just keep buying me stuff!”

“That’s a joke, Idiot, the meals are all free in the main dining room. Well, pre-paid, whatever. How did you eat yesterday?”

“Uh, I snuck into the buffet line. I figured if I just looked casual nobody would catch me.”

“This from the woman who accused me of working for the mafia?”

They snagged some buffet food and then a table. Ed looked askance at her meal choice.
