They are a little pricey, Bonnie, which is why we only used to do them for anniversaries (until our family starting getting us gift certificates), but the worst thing we’ve ever said about a B&B was that it was only “very nice.” And most of them have websites with photos that let you see in advance what you’re getting into; this helps us a LOT, because Deb loves the old Victorian decorations and the feel of being transported into a different era. We also are usually forced to interact with people (we’re very much NOT people persons) at breakfast, which sometimes is not-so-great but usually is fun.
