Stars Like A Wheel

Spinning while the universe comes unbound

Lying down
staring up
at the stars turning
like the wheel of the universe
had been spun
harder & faster
while
earth beneath me
began to move
to catch up
so fast
so fast
so fast I could not hold
until
your hand
took mine
and I was safe
from falling off
