Spin, span, spun… spin the antique globe with obsolete names that span 20th Century history, now spun into old paper and dead memories.
The globe above is pre-WWII; I retrieved it many years ago from a curbside trash location. My intent was to spin it and then take the photo, giving a slight motion blur that would match the prompt. Very artistic. Alas, the globe rotates but does not spin, in that an applied force will move it, but motion stops the instant the force ceases. <sigh>
