Sorry, I’m confused here; I understood that the attacks on 9/11/2001 were instigated by Al-Qaeda, and that the Taliban never attacked US personnel until after we invaded Afghanistan, and then all Taliban attacks have been within Afghanistan. Am I incorrect, or are you referring to something else?
