So at 39, divorced but in a new relationship that gave me hope, I (somehow) decided that however I was at 40 was The Way I Would Be. That was it. No more big changes. Forty!

At 41 (relationship turned to sand sifting through my fingers) I decided that yup, alone, that was me, that was fine, alone, I could do alone the rest of my life, I would be fine. No more big changes.

Six months later I met this nice lady at my new job; her name was Deb.

Changes. Lots.

So anyway, Ann, sounds like your zero-year reassessment went better than mine! 😉
