Shakespeare *is* smutty in spots, in a PG-13 kind of way. My 11th grade English teacher clued us into the dirty jokes in Hamlet, and after that our class read the Bard with closer attention to make sure we didn’t miss anything. 😁
But apparently some parents were never clued in, and are shocked — SHOCKED! — to find that classic literature has dirty jokes.
