Roz, we took my father’s car (initially through subterfuge, then we flat-out stole it when my sister gave it back to him) after accidents and an “unfair” driving test that he refused to acknowledge meant he no longer had a license. He never spoke to me or Deb again, other than curses and telling me I was out of his will.
We traded in our car early to take advantage of safety innovations on the current models. I would rather get buzzed at by my car than yelled at by my wife! And I’m fine with a car that brakes on its own if it feels I’m too slow. Plus I LOVE the rear and side cameras!
