Quick question, Sivan: Do you know if the "team leader" concept is still kicking around? I was in two different companies in the 1990s when it was (briefly, I hope?) in vogue. Both companies interpreted the concept as "making someone in the team a manager without paying them for being a manager, but telling them it's just a temporary spot for a single project and someone else will take the job next time." (One of the folks on our team was studying for his MBA; his take: "We've studied the team leader concept, and this sure as hell isn't it.")
I thought your article was smart and insightful (IOW I totally agreed with it 😉) and I'm glad someone like you is out there offering your coaching skills.
