Peanut butter. Not the natural kind (with which I love to cook) but the cheap crappy sugar-added kind. Sugar helps with immediate low sugar problems, the protein helps with longer-term lows. Not saying it’s for everybody, but it works (pretty well) for me. AND (important at 04:30 in the morning with a reading below 50) it takes no mental effort to prep.
