Our township had to put yellow tape around the playgrounds; the “CLOSED” signs had no effect. Sure, let your kid play on equipment that hasn’t been cleaned after being sneezed on, spit on, coughed on, drooled on, and who knows where else the kids’ hands have been. 🙄

OTOH, I’ve read posts by people trapped in small houses with small kids, who have probably watched Dr. Oz’s pronouncements on opening schools and thought, “Huh, 2–3% fatality rate? Yeah, I can go for those odds…”
