Our landscaper planted several succulent clusters right next to our artificial stream. Over the years, some have grown into the stream, with varying results. Several small branches have broken off, been swept downstream, gotten lodged in rocks, and died. Or taken off like they were on Miracle-Gro — fat, happy, and enjoying the extra moisture. One branch has grown under one of the water sources (the landscaper designed it so that the water gushes from the rocks, like a spring) and bobs up and down while the water is running, with no discernible damage; it did that for the last three months of the season, before I pulled the pumps for winter.

Succulents are fun. 😁
