Our Birdseye Speedwell is a well-behaved weed. Well, kinda. It is strong, so if I gather up most of the plant before I yank, I will get the whole plant, roots and all; but it also roots deeply, so if the ground is dry I only get the above-ground plant, and in a month I need to get it again. But if it’s in bloom and all pretty I just let it sit until next time (yes, this is why I can never get rid of it, I know…).
