Oh, dear lady, I know what you mean! Everything becomes a stress point, any time constraint can induce constant watch checks and fear of being late, and the end of the day means interest in nothing but a glass of wine (large) and collapsing in front of the TV to binge on Netflix (but with Deb next to me, and she’s more effective than the wine, IMHO). I hope to teach my body in a month or three that everything is okay now and I can make an appointment for 10am without freaking out all morning.
And yep, the fatigue/error/stress/repeat cycle — my life, the last few months at work. And Deb had (has, for 8.5 more work days) the same stress levels from her job, so it was important I keep up a happy face and be part of her solutions, not her problems.
Hang in there, Dennett! It WILL get better. And you will have days when “stress” is being out of corn for the ducks. 😊
