Not to dispute your overall statement, Samuel, just sticking up for the younger generations: we spent yesterday afternoon talking and playing games with friends. One couple explained how they’ve been binging on Netflix lately; she was on her iPhone several times to check messages from their kids and grandkids, show photos, and do dictionary lookups (we were playing word games). She’s early 80s, he’s mid-80s; I was the baby in the group at 60. Oh, and I did not check my phone once in that time! (Okay, I have a smart watch that showed all my messages and alerts, so if you want to be really technical…)
