Not mutually exclusive events. Ever see the movie Minority Report? In one scene two characters are trying to escape from cops in a busy mall. One character knows the future, so she tells the other one to perform seemingly random acts, like turn left and hold still for ten seconds. Then the camera shifts, and we see things from the cops’ point of view, and each “random” event is actually keeping the fugitives out of sight.
Fresh milk might save the world, although you will never know for sure. Your point of view is too restricted.
