My training is a bit more recent (part of learning to use a defibrillator) so if I’d been there, I would have told you to stop. Which would have been bad, because my guess is that stress to the chest would be a good thing for a pulmonary embolism (I defer to alto, Patsy, or any of our other medical peeps, of course). So my vote is, yep, you saved a life.
