My solution to the “I want to leave a comment but I got nuthin’” is to leave a 💚. Or 💚💚💚 if the story moved me. 💚💚💚💚💚 if I had to get a tissue.
(For those of you arriving late, Medium used to use a single green heart instead of claps. Also, their logo/icon was an “M” instead of the dots-thingie. And you had to write stories quickly to save them before your dial-up connection dropped. But you only got a buck or two per story, if you got paid at all. Aren’t you glad that you live in modern times?)
