My first wife and current wife are both PKs (preacher’s kids) and yes, Anna, they will confirm what you said. Neither learned to use makeup until they were in college. My current wife married her first boyfriend. Both acknowledge choices they made that they might not have, had they grown up differently. And both still loved their parents dearly! (TBH, both sets of in-laws were wonderful.)
