LOL! Birth control pills (“the Pill” in the 70s) also help women with painful or unpredictable periods (Deb was on bc pills when I met her for just that reason; worked out later on, of course 😉). But a teenage girl would never want anyone to know she was on the Pill because OBVIOUSLY that meant she was a slut! 🙄
