Just about to get into the car for the morning commute

My wife. Slightly stylized. Still cute as hell.

I get lost
In your hugs
Sometimes.

When we start
A habitual embrace
That
Gives me your touch
Gives me your warmth
Gives me your scent
Gives me your breath;

And I want
My arms on your back
My face on your neck
My chest against yours
While you hold me
And hold me
And hold me
And I want the world to stop.

Just stop.

Just let us be
Just us two.
No more.
Together.
Embracing.
Supporting.
Enduring.

Just let us be.

But

Life, work, time, the time, the passing time,
And we’re late and we’re late
So we break
Apart.

Two parts

Until later we are whole again.
