Jill, one of the SHMILY things that Deb did for me early in our relationship (SHMILY = Shows How Much I Love You) was draw a map for me to get to a spot across town. But! It was not a "Deb map" (consisting of the landmarks between the start and end points) , it was a "Jack map" with road names and proportional distances. This was like somebody who only speaks English learning to sign in ASL.
