I’ve seen what the soon-to-be-former administration is trying to get done to make up for DADT persecutions, and good for them (if a tad late). Alas, I only know one person personally who got booted then (actually in 1982, before DADT) and I suspect she feels she doesn’t need VA benefits when she’s on Medicare and starting Social Security this year. But I’m glad some folks are getting the benefits they worked for.
