I've said for decades I have no desire to be a father. The standard reaction from friends? "Aw, that's too bad, you'd be a great dad." And then on to the next topic. 😐

I had a friend who got tubal ligation. Divorced, two kids, late 30s at the time. Had to go through several doctors because "Oh what if you change your mind?" 🙄 When it was all over she said it was an ENORMOUS load off.
