Indeed!

Although for us, it began after we got married, moved into our house (‘nother story), and I asked for details after Deb unpacked a small figurine of Eliza Doolittle with her flower cart. Deb explained that after her first marriage fell apart, she and her parents were watching My Fair Lady and Deb declared that since she had nothing left to celebrate in her life, she would celebrate Eliza Doolittle Day on May 20th.

And then promptly forgot about it.

But Mom & Dad made cards, had family sign them, and on the 20th of May delivered them, along with the Eliza miniature. So I now had an excuse for whatever I felt like, and every May (exact day fluctuates because: life) Deb gets flowers delivered to her office.
