I’m reminded of a writer who told about his wife, and their differences in sex drives. His was more than hers. Sometimes much more. She would always tease him, “How do you get anything done when you’re thinking about sex all day?”

Then, after many years of marriage, she went on HRT. And the sex drive balance shifted.

“HOW do you get anything done when you’re thinking about SEX? ALL? DAY?” she asked him, with a mixture of weariness and frustration. By the time her doctor changed her meds so that she wasn’t continuously horny, her husband was happy to let things go back to how they’d been.

Although he sounded just a little smug about his wife seeing life from the other side, for a little bit.
