I’m holding off publicizing Deb’s current books until I get The Best Dressed Nest ready to roll, Dennett. That involves parsing the story into pages (since a kid’s book needs an illustration for each page, right?); figuring out a description of the illustrations we want for each page for the illustrator; finding the illustrator (the one who did the first two books did a wonderful job, but might not be freelancing anymore); creating the funding campaign for paying the illustrator, in such a way as it also acts as a publicity campaign; running the funding campaign, proofing the illustrations, proofing the final book, and finally putting a bow on the whole thing.
<whew!>
This is why the project has waited until retirement.
Oh, and you can read her books online here.
