I’m going to venture that all the writers on Medium are in a “minority” group. That might be because of race, ethnicity, religion, intelligence, health, mental history, life experience, trauma, bad food choices, or whatever*. Because, let’s face it, if we were mainstream we’d be publishing in mainstream media, yes?

Anybody who wanders in and complains about a writer being too <fill in the blank> about something needs to do a 180 and get their ass back to Fox or CNN or Vogue or Rolling Stone or wherever. Nobody’s got time for that here.

*For me, I guess I would check off tech geekiness… <goes for a high five, ends up swatting a fist bump> … and social awkwardness. Oh, and having an awesome spouse! [Yours is awesome too? How nice.
