I’m former Anglican Catholic (Episcopalian) rather than Roman Catholic, so my view is probably off, but it feels more and more like the RC church leadership in the US is bringing back the Church Militant. “Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!”, but if you don’t, you haven’t been paying attention…
