I used Twitter back in my IT days because it was great for tracking national network outages. Locations could tweet minute-by-minute status, and other sites could graphically display where problems were. Then Musk limited the number of tweets per account because… actually, I didn’t care, I was tired of the jerk by then and quit.

Not sure I will use Bluesky much, but I support the concept, so I’m on it.
