I totally agree about farts being delightful to a 4-year-old, Juhi. Also burps, and words that incorporate the words “poop” or “toilet.” 💨 🙄

The “farts make sounds?” story reminds me of an early attempt at artifical sight for the blind. The tester was identifying various common objects and absolutely delighted at putting “shapes” to the things he only knew by touch. Then they showed him a fire, and it blew his mind. Intellectually he knew all about fire, heat and gases and combustion; but the idea of fire not just having a shape, but also the way it was always in motion, utterly shifted his worldview.
