I suspect that being a CEO will have ingrained bad work habits. Most people think the President has unfettered power, but a CEO can fire almost anyone in her organization on a whim; the President can’t fire Congress, or SCOTUS, or even a large percentage of the executive branch. Obama came into office saying, “Hey, we’re reasonable people, let’s get together and figure this out,” only to find that isn’t how Washington really works. Trump would have to find an alternative to “YOU’RE FIRED!” if he wants to get useful things accomplished.
