I remember that answer in Quora — “I wonder if that’s my Michelle Hozey from Medium?” (I decided yes, because there must be only one writer of that quality with that name. Probably.)

I’m awful at spotting bad (or good) people on first impressions. Even on second impressions, my ability to discern someone who is lying only works with people who believe they’re not telling the truth (so I’m maybe 50/50 on sales people). I’m a sucker for sincere, well-intentioned idiots and smart psychopaths (the ones who don’t care what happens to anyone else, not the liver & fava beans ones).
