I love to cook (I do 98% of the cooking in our house—Deb does family holidays, I do everything else) but I would never want a bunch of random recipes. I don't even like recipe books anymore (except for one my late MIL gave me on recipes from the cooks at the White House; not for the actual recipes, per se, but the "this is what a recipe looked like in 1856 OMG 19th Century kitchens were hell on earth" historical fascination). Except for the rare baking endevour, I just wing it (can't play around with baking! cooking is an art, baking is chemistry) so recipes are useful only for inspiration (garlic, mustard, and pecans! I should SO try that!).
