I leave pennies and nickels (occasionally dimes) in odd places. Parking lots. Forest trails. Fences. I do it because it seems like a cheap, easy way to bring some kid (adults, I figured, wouldn't look down — okay, got THAT one wrong!) a moment of pleasure.

And I ALWAYS leave them heads up. That's how you know they're really lucky. 😉

You can argue that see! People leave change around for no good reason!
