I hate dealing with people, even on the phone, Bebe, but as one also recently retired (albeit just before the Trump Pandemic) I can see the payoff in investing my time listening to on-hold-commercials and dealing with the phone bots (“Please state the reason for your call.” “Reduce our Internet cost.” “I believe you just said, ‘Review my television options,’ is that correct?” “NO!”). Worst case, it could give me something to write about. 😁
