I had the same security setup in my first car (73 Mercury Bobcat [clone of the Ford Pinto]).

…shelter as well, although it had wheels. It was a two-toned Honda hatchback, half- rust, half-blue. I didn’t even bother locking it when I parked it. I’d probably make more money from an insurance claim if it somehow got stolen.

I had the same security setup in my first car (73 Mercury Bobcat [clone of the Ford Pinto]). Additional benefit: the junkier car has right-of-way in Boston roundabouts.
