I enjoy making my wife happy, but that's pure selfishness on my part. I am most happy when she is happy, and when she gets into one of her pure delight moods my whole world lights up.

I realize many people don't work like that, but the groom in the story does not deserve his wife. Or anyone, possibly. A Mafia hit would be more in order.
