I “engage in recurring suicidal ideation,” Elizabeth, so I have some idea of your topic from the inside. I tried suicide at age 25; I haven’t gotten horribly close to the edge too many times since, but I still feel it’s prudent not to have firearms or heavy-duty sedatives in the house. I accept that I am never going to get mentally “well,” just like I am always going to have to watch my carb intact because of my diabetes.
I just finished Holes and a series of rabbits (I owe you a review on Amazon) and I like it. Thank you for being around and doing what you do. Thank you for trying to help others.
