I don't think it works like that, Ida. Sometimes a character waltzes into Louise's story, makes a ruckus, and walks out without leaving so much as a phone number, never to be seen again.

And then other times we hear, "I'M BAAA-AACK!" and turn around as they sashay in.

It's a short-form thing.
