Image for post — Another wall in my home office. The pen & ink drawings are by Judy King Rieniets, a fantasy artist who was local to Annapolis, MD, when I bought these. Upper-left and lower-right are prints, the other two are originals. The severed heads of the two demons were done by Bill McMahon (about whom I know nothing); the top one is entitled “Demon”, the lower one is “Bedeviled,” but I named them Murgatroyd and Throckmorton. They are plaster, and scary enough my first wife would not sleep in the same apartment with them while we were dating, so they got moved to my office at work, which caused the occasional double-take. (Deb doesn’t care, so they’re back home.)
