Hi Jules! Yes, I’m a crappy lurker — I can’t pass up highlighting stuff I like, and it’s been a struggle not to comment. We buried Deb’s mom yesterday, and Life Is Back To Normal today (ha!). There is still so much to do. (PSA: If you have brilliant ideas to make settling an estate easier, talk to a lawyer BEFOREHAND rather than after the will is executed. Some of what we did to make life easier if Mom went into assisted living for an extended period have bitten us in the ass when she died quickly, and rather than protecting the estate we have it on the edge of insolvency.) [Probably a Medium post in there somewhere.]
I have a draft underway based on recent events. It involves, oddly enough, sadness and rainbows.
I, alas, cannot dance, nor can my wonderful wife. We “dance” at weddings by swaying to slow numbers with our arms around each other. We can’t sing, either, but we make up silly words to songs on the radio as the spirit moves us, so we grok what you mean with you & your husband in impromptu dance numbers.
