Having a pool within walking distance (and without going outside!) is a big perk that Deb looks forward to when we move to the retirement community. Me, I will try the workout room, but if there are people there who like to chat (anything beyond “Hi!” is chatting, btw) I will stick with my dumbbells and exercise videos in our little living room. Or maybe try the pool — my smartwatch handles laps just fine [I’m told] and nobody chats underwater.

Ah! That’s why you don’t have your lovely colored hair, Ann! After Deb’s last hair treatment, she took our grandniece to a pool, and while she never immersed her hair, the kids’ splashing washed most of the color out. 😢 Priorities.
