In most ways it doesn't matter because I've been married to the same woman for almost 25 years, and I have no intention of ever being married to anyone else. (No romantic attraction to any other women, of course. Not a virtue, I'm just wired that way.) But yes, my "type" before I met Deb (who prefers short hair, wears pants unless the occasion demands skirts or dresses, was a nerd in high school and college, never had kids and is happy with that) was just as you described, from crushes in high school and college to women I dated (and in one case married) before I met Deb.

Still, I feel a tinge of foreboding when I see that, OMG, Matt has had another revelation... 🤨
